There is one in every family. The one who fuels the fire of gossip over the holidays. The one who gives the relatives something to talk about during their required monthly phone calls. The one who basically give them the only excitement in their lives. It is human nature in most to gossip, to talk about someone else, to pass judgement in order to make themselves feel better. Personally, I love that I can brag it was once me. There was even a time when I was disappointed it might not be me. I think I enjoyed knowing that somewhere my life was thought to be so much more exciting than it really was. No matter how old I get, I want that. I need that. If I can't have that? You know what?
