Jesus Loves Me So Fuck You! Tank Top

I'm on the phone talking with my friend, joking around (of course). Sarcastically insulting anything we can about each other, picking on the weakness we know she is thinking but won't admit. It doesn't have to make sense to you. We keep the banter going until all of a sudden an insult comes out that you have never heard before. In fact, you are pretty impressed with it and want to give a speech on how impressed you are. That in a nutshell was pretty much what was happening when I blurted this phrase. It wasn't meant as an insult. People read it and take offense to it and I'm like.. How is this bad? Jesus does love me so who cares if you do. What is bad about that? The most interesting thing about this shirt.. Elderly people LOVE it. I have no idea why. I think maybe because they see what it is saying, really saying, and know it's in fun and harmless. I have had so many come up to me and say Jesus loves me too or Nice shirt! It surprises me. I wore it to a Kaiser appt and it was a hit in the pharmacy. I am not sure if at our age and younger we just naturally gravitate to the negative but they love it.
